Forms, colors, and the emotions they conjure up have always captured my attention. Whether painting with acrylic, with watercolor, or simply drawing with pencil on paper, my goal as an artist is to render the spirit of the subject, be it a lone artichoke, a squashed water bottle, a peacefully sleeping child, or an endless chore required by daily life. I strive to re-create the sensations I felt at a certain moment in time on paper or canvas.
